According to information, the deceased is Ashok Ram, 22, son of Lalak Ram, a resident of Paharpur village in the Gadhani police station area. He was a laborer. The deceased's sister, Gorki Devi, said that his wife is pregnant. He had been living at his in-laws' house in Jamuan village in the Sandesh police station area for about a month and a half. He had invited her to his home in Jamuan village for Chhath Puja to take care of his family and children. On Tuesday, he returned from her home to his in-laws' house in Jamuan, after which he spoke with her over the phone.
His mother had organized a puja at home. He had asked his wife for a hundred rupees and left for his home in Paharpur village. Meanwhile, the incident occurred. Villagers informed him of this on Thursday night. Upon receiving the information, the family arrived. Subsequently, the police took the body into their custody and conducted a post-mortem at Sadar Hospital. Meanwhile, the deceased's sister, Gorki Devi, has categorically denied any disputes or enmities between her brother and anyone. She has not leveled any suspicions or accusations against anyone. However, the motive for the murder and why remains unclear. Pavana Police Station Officer Amish Kumar stated that prima facie, the murder appears to have been committed elsewhere and dumped at the scene. Because the slippers were properly placed near the body, he lived at his in-laws' home. Consequently, his family suspects his wife. Police are investigating this and other aspects of the case. It is reported that the deceased was the fourth of three brothers and one sister. His family includes his wife, Panchkilo Devi, and a daughter, Barkha.
