The deceased has been identified as 21-year-old Nirasha Devi, wife of local resident Manibhushan Gupta. Family members say that Nirasha's family was involved in a simple business and had recently been involved in a dispute over some financial transactions. SDPO Singh stated that prima facie, it appears to be a case of personal enmity, but all angles are being thoroughly investigated. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination.
