WOMAN COMMITS SUICIDE AFTER A TIFF WITH HER HUSBAND

BUXAR-------------------------A newly married woman has died under suspicious circumstances in Kasiya village of the local police station area. The incident is from Friday night. In this case, while the in-laws are saying that she ate poison due to a dispute between husband and wife, the parents are accusing her of dowry death. The police have handed over the body to the parents after conducting the post-mortem. Till the time of writing the news, the parents had not given any application in this matter to Dumraon police station.

The deceased has been identified as 20-year-old Jyoti Kumari, wife of Munna Ram. According to the information, she is the daughter of Shiv Kumar Ram, resident of Bahura Bahoranpur village of Brahmapur police station area and two years ago she was married to Munna Ram, son of Basant Ram, resident of Kasiya village of Dumraon police station area. It is said that on Friday, there was a dispute between the husband and wife over some issue, in this dispute Jyoti consumed poison. When her condition deteriorated, her in-laws took her to Dumraon sub-divisional hospital for treatment, where after primary treatment, seeing her critical condition, the doctors referred her to a higher center. After this, her in-laws took her to Sadar Hospital, where she died during treatment. In this case, the in-charge police station chief of Dumraon said that as soon as the information about the case was received, a police team was immediately sent, the body was taken into custody, post-mortem was done and it was handed over to the parents. The parents are accusing of dowry murder, but till late evening no application of any kind has been received. Action will be taken as per rules on receiving the application.
