PATNA-----------------------------Survey is being done. Many questions are arising among the people of the state regarding the land survey. Especially about such land which comes under non-cultivable land. People are discussing what will happen to non-cultivable land? After all, what is the government going to do with these lands in the land survey? And the biggest thing is what is the government rule for non-cultivable land?

According to the assistant settlement officials, non-cultivable land is of two types in Bihar. Common and special. The first type of common land belongs to the government. The second type of special land has ownership rights.

However, if you have non-cultivable special land and it is recorded in the Khatian, then there is nothing to worry about. The government is not going to take your rights from this land. Non-cultivable special land will remain with the person who owns it. If you have common land on which you are in possession, then the government can take this land from you because this land is government land. The government uses the non-cultivated common land to build drains, roads, crematoriums, canals, schools, cemeteries, ponds and lakes. The government can get some work done on fallow land. Such land is recorded in the non-cultivated common account. The government has ownership rights on these lands. The government can take back such land. If someone is in possession of it, he will have to leave it.
