ARA-------------------------The Shahpur-Banahi Road, located in the Shahpur Nagar Panchayat of Bhojpur district, has become waterlogged due to rain near the Shahpur Police Station. Commuters are facing difficulties. Due to the waterlogging, people are forced to wade through the water. The Shahpur Police Station, Block and Circle Office, Agriculture Office, Livelihood Office, Child Development Project Office, Power House, Hospital, Nagar Panchayat Office, MNREGA Office, and other offices are located on the Shahpur-Banahi Road. Banahi, the nearest railway station in the area, also takes this route. People from many nearby villages travel to Shahpur for shopping and shopping. People have to cross the water to get there. Yet, the administration remains unmoved. The Nagar Panchayat office has also failed to make proper arrangements for water drainage. The government and administration are concerned about elections, not the people. Residents say that traveling on this road is dangerous. This is a crucial route from a geographical perspective. Thousands of people travel on this route daily. Hundreds of thousands of people from numerous villages in Shahpur block must travel this route to the police station, block and zonal office, electricity office, hospital, and other offices. People are shocked and distressed by the condition and plight of this road. The foundation stone for this road was laid by MP Sudama Prasad and MLA Rahul Tiwari, also known as Mantu Tiwari. Despite this, the NDA government has not yet begun construction on this road.
