His elder brother was also injured in the scuffle. Both injured were brought to Sadar Hospital for treatment. The injured middle-aged man was shot in the left wrist, while his elder brother was injured during the scuffle. The incident caused a sensation in the village and surrounding areas.
On receiving information, Karnampur Police Station Officer Kanhaiya Kumar arrived at the scene and met with the family members of the injured to inquire about the incident. Following this, the police have begun investigating the matter. According to reports, the victim was Lal Yadav, 50, son of the late Ghiran Yadav, a resident of Sonvarsha village, under the Karnampur police station area. His elder brother, 60-year-old Laxman Yadav, was injured in the scuffle.
The Karnampur police station informed 'Khabre Aapki' that the accused, Akhilesh Yadav, has been arrested after prompt action. The country-made pistol used in the incident was also recovered. Police are conducting raids to arrest other suspects involved in the assault and firing.
