ARA----------------------------A total of twelve couples formally tied the knot and began a new chapter of their lives during a mass wedding ceremony held in Piro on Saturday under the aegis of the non-governmental organization Parmeshwari Social Welfare Trust. This marked the fourth consecutive year of the organization's holding of the mass wedding ceremony. The local population was enthusiastic about the event, especially the large number of women who arrived at the venue to witness the mass wedding of all the newlyweds. Held at the historic Padav Maidan, located at the Piro subdivisional headquarters, dozens of dignitaries, including Agiaon MLA Mahesh Paswan, Piro BDO Ashok Kumar, NDA leader Sunil Singh, former BJP district general secretary Madan Snehi, ABVP state minister Chhotu Singh, Jyoti Kushwaha, and Vicky Singh, blessed the newlyweds. Those present expressed their appreciation for organizing such a mass wedding, stating that it sends a positive message to the community. At this ceremony, the bride and groom were presented with household items, clothing, and jewelry as gifts from the organization. Food and refreshments were also provided for all the guests. Renowned anchor Raviranjan Rai hosted the ceremony. Raju Pathak, Sanjay Mishra, Arun Sharma, Chhotu Singh, Sanjeet Mishra, Ankush Singh, Rajan Rai, and many others contributed significantly to the event, while a large number of people from Piro and the surrounding area attended.

During the mass wedding ceremony, renowned Bhojpuri folk singer Nisha Upadhyay enthralled the audience with her melodies. Her songs kept the audience dancing for a long time. Khushi Kakkar, Aryan Babu, Anjali Bhardwaj, and Rani Pandey, along with dozens of other folk artists, entertained the audience. During this time, a large number of women also participated in the program along with men.
