PATNA---------------------------A big reshuffle has been seen in Bihar politics at this time. Giving a big blow to BJP before the assembly elections, three veteran Kushwaha leaders have joined RJD. Influenced by the ideas of Lalu Prasad Yadav and the policies of Tejashwi Yadav, many BJP leaders took membership of the party at the RJD state headquarters in Patna on Monday.

Senior BJP leaders Virendra Prasad Kushwaha, Premchand Kushwaha and Ravindra Prasad Kushwaha are prominent among those who joined RJD. Along with them, other leaders including Jairam Prasad, Daroga Ram and Lalan Prasad also held the lantern with supporters. RJD's teachers cell state president Kumar Rai and spokesperson Ejaz Ahmed welcomed all the new leaders to the party. Kumar Rai said that influenced by Lalu Prasad Yadav's thinking of social justice and Tejashwi Yadav's vision focused on education, employment and jobs, hundreds of teachers and BJP leaders are joining RJD. This trend will continue in future as well.

Meanwhile, Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Tejashwi Yadav posted on social media and cornered the NDA government of the Center and the state on the issue of unemployment and poverty. He said that despite being in power in Bihar for 20 years and at the Center for 11 years, Nitish Kumar and Narendra Modi could not free Bihar from unemployment and migration.

Tejashwi wrote that even today Bihar's per capita income is less than the world's poor African countries Uganda and Rwanda. Bihar has world-famous produce like banana, makhana, sugarcane, potato, litchi, corn and mango, but despite this food processing industries were not established here.

He questioned why IT companies did not come to Bihar? Why could IT parks and SEZs not be built here? Why were industry-specific clusters not set up in Bihar? He asked why the government did not promote the weaver industry, small scale industry and handloom industry?

Tejashwi alleged that the government neither made the recruitment examinations and appointments transparent nor regular. He said that if the government has not given employment to the youth till now, then this time the youth will give a befitting reply to the government in the elections.

It is clear that the joining of BJP leaders in RJD will have an impact on the electoral equations. Especially the joining of these leaders from Kushwaha community in RJD will give new strength to the party. On the other hand, BJP may have to suffer losses at the organizational level.
