RAJIV NAYAN AGRAWAL

ARA------------------------Yesterday was the last day of campaigning for the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections. On this occasion, Bharatiya Janata Party National President JP Nadda visited the Daulatpur Sports Ground in Koilwar block of Bhojpur district. He addressed a large public rally in support of NDA-backed BJP candidate Raghavendra Pratap Singh from the Barhara Assembly constituency and appealed to the public to ensure a landslide victory for the BJP.

During his address at the rally, JP Nadda sharply targeted the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Lalu Prasad Yadav, and Tejashwi Yadav. He said that the Jungle Raj that once existed in Bihar still exists in the minds of these people. He said that those who once symbolized anarchy and fear are now trying to mislead the public with new alluring promises.

Nadda said, "RJD stands for extortion, jungle raj, and bullying. The people of Bihar know very well what their history has been. When Lalu Yadav was in power, there was an atmosphere of fear, corruption, and crime throughout Bihar. People were afraid to leave their homes."

Referring to an incident from 2003 in his speech, he said that Lalu Yadav had held a rally in Patna called "Oil Pilavan, Lathiya Bhajan." He told his supporters to "oil the sticks and use them with force." Following that rally, an atmosphere of terror prevailed throughout Patna, and people were intimidated. Nadda said that this was the true face of jungle raj—where the stick prevailed over the law.

JP Nadda further said that the steps Bihar has taken towards development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar are completely different from the RJD's rule. He said, "Now, roads are being built in Bihar, schools and hospitals are opening, and electricity has reached every village. But under RJD rule, there was an atmosphere of darkness and fear."

A large crowd gathered at this public meeting in Bhojpur, chanting slogans in support of the BJP and applauding JP Nadda several times during his speech. Nadda appealed to the public to vote for the NDA for development, good governance, and stability, to stop the forces that are dragging Bihar backwards again.

At the end of the meeting, he said that the BJP's goal is not just to win elections, but to repay the public's trust and lead Bihar on the path of progress.
