SASARAM--------------------------District Superintendent of Police Roshan Kumar held an important meeting with the social media influencers of the district on the occasion of World Social Media Day. Important issues like tourism development, cyber security and awareness were discussed in this meeting.

The SP said that the natural and cultural heritage of the district has got a new dimension through social media. Due to this, there has been a significant increase in the number of tourists at tourist places like Manjhar Kund, Dhuan Kund, Durgavati Dam, Geet Ghat and Kashish Waterfall.

He said that in view of the ever increasing crowd of tourists, security forces will be deployed at these places. Special campaigns will be run to keep an eye on anti-social elements and deal with traffic jams, especially on festivals, Saturdays and Sundays. A fixed number of people will be allowed entry by barricading at major places.

Along with this, the SP also expressed concern about cyber crimes and appealed to the people to be vigilant. He said that awareness campaigns will also be run from time to time to protect the general public from cyber fraud.
