This eclipse will occur in the Virgo zodiac sign and the Uttara Phalguni nakshatra, but its visibility will be primarily in the Southern Hemisphere, including New Zealand, Fiji, Antarctica, and southern Australia.
Since this eclipse will not be visible in India, the Sutak period will not be observed here. This means that regular worship will be held in temples in India, and there will be no restrictions on religious activities.
The eclipse will begin at 10:59 pm Indian Standard Time on September 21 and will last until 3:23 am Indian Standard Time on September 22.
