BUXAR------------------------Teachers have always played a crucial role in nation-building. Today, once again, they must fulfill their duty and responsibility to propel the state forward, so that Bihar can become a leading educational state in the country. Bihar's educational history has been extremely glorious, and the current teachers have the responsibility to carry this legacy forward. These remarks were made by Bihar Assembly Speaker Prem Kumar while addressing the Teacher Felicitation Ceremony – 2025.

He said that if teachers shoulder this responsibility with complete dedication and commitment, Bihar can create a new identity for itself in the field of education at the national level. A teacher is a guide for society, and the creation of a strong and educated nation is possible only through their contribution.

On this occasion, Dr. Manish Kumar Shashi, a resident of Dumraon and a leading teacher from the district, who has also been awarded the State Teacher Award from Bihar, was felicitated by Bihar Assembly Speaker Prem Kumar in the Bihar Legislative Council auditorium. This felicitation ceremony was organized under the aegis of The Teachers Future Makers forum, with the participation of teacher representatives from all 38 districts of Bihar.

Several dignitaries were present at the felicitation ceremony, including Dr. Abha Rani from the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Deputy Director Sanjay Kumar, Joint Secretary Ramesh Chandra, Professor Dr. K. C. Sinha, S. Chaudhary from the CBI, MLA Sandeep Saurabh, Director of CID (Criminal Investigation Department) Patna Bipin Kumar Chaudhary, Principal of Patna Law College Vani Bhushan, and the Principal of Navodaya Vidyalaya Patna.

The program also included discussions on innovation in the field of education, quality improvement, and teacher empowerment. Speakers said that with changing times, teachers will have to connect with technology and research to guide the new generation in a better direction.

Upon receiving the honor, Dr. Manish Kumar Shashi received congratulations and best wishes from Anita Yadav, Pramod Kumar Chaubey, Dhananjay Mishra, Brijesh Rai, Vikas Kumar, Dr. Surendra Singh, Sonu Verma, Vishal Jaiswal, Vipin Kumar, Rama Shankar Chaudhary, and other educationists and well-wishers from Buxar district and the Bihar Mathematical Society.
