TEACHER ARRESTED FOR MOLESTING A MINOR STUDENT

ARA---------------------------A teacher at a private school in Hasanbazar, under the Hasanbazar police station jurisdiction, has been arrested for molesting and engaging in indecent behavior with a minor student. According to information received, the family of a student from Mohani Tola in the Bikramganj police station area had enrolled her in the RPS Residential School, a private school in Hasanbazar, about 10 days ago. Sumit Kumar Singh, alias Guddu Singh, son of Suresh Kumar, a resident of Basori village in the Sikrahata police station area, is also a teacher at the school. It is reported that the teacher and director's son began molesting and engaging in indecent behavior with the minor student just two or three days after enrollment. Distressed, the student informed her family about the incident. Subsequently, the student's mother took the student to the Hasanbazar police station, informed the police, and filed a complaint against the teacher. Following the complaint, the police took prompt action and arrested the accused teacher. According to the Hasanbazar police station chief, an FIR has been registered against the accused teacher under various sections and he has been arrested. After the necessary proceedings, the accused teacher will be sent to jail.
