SRI TRIDANDI DEV COLLEGE PLAYERS CLINCH THE KABADDI COMPETITION TITLE

ARA-----------------------------Successfully hosting the inter-college Kabaddi competition organized under Veer Kunwar Singh University, the players of Shri Tridandi Dev College in Shahpur won the Kabaddi competition title through their outstanding performance. This competition was organized at Shri Tridandi Dev Government Degree College, Gautam Nagar, Shahpur, under Veer Kunwar Singh University, Ara. On the final day of the competition, Dr. Om Prakash Rai, Prof. Dr. Narendra Kumar Palit, Principal, and Dr. Padma Singh from Women's College Ara, and representatives from Women's College Ballia were present as chief guests at the closing ceremony.

In the semi-final match of the competition, a thrilling match was played between A.S. College, Bikramganj Rohtas and D.K. College, Dumraon. In this match, D.K. College, Dumraon won by 20 points and entered the final match. In the other semi-final match, the competition was between S.B. College, Ara and S.T.D.G.D. College, Shahpur. In this match, Shri Tridandi Dev Government Degree College, Shahpur won by 25 points and secured its place in the final.

The final match was extremely exciting, in which Shri Tridandi Dev Government Degree College, Shahpur achieved victory with 31 points. After this spectacular victory, the chief guest Dr. Om Prakash Rai, who is an officer of DSW Veer Kunwar Singh University Ara, presented the trophy and certificates to the winning team. Along with this, the runner-up team was also honored with a trophy and certificates by Principal Dr. Gulab Phalahari.

During the ceremony, Dr. Om Prakash Rai addressed the gathering and said that the performance of both teams was truly commendable. Connecting the spirit of sports with discipline, he said that sports is not only a medium of competition, but it also teaches us the spirit of unity and cooperation. Principal Dr. Gulab Phalahari encouraged the players, saying that the कबड्डी (Kabaddi) competition organized by our college has not only boosted morale but has also set a new record at the university.

On this occasion, Sports In-charge Dr. Ambarish Gautam, Dr. Abul Kalam (Dean of Students), Dr. Rajiv Kumar, Ajit Kumar Ram, Praveen Kumar, and several other academicians were also present. Everyone expressed their happiness at the success of the competition and appreciated the hard work of the players.
