PATNA-----------------------------Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has given another chance to the students deprived of enrollment in Intermediate (session 2025-27). The committee has extended the last date for spot admission in Intermediate class in the educational institutions of the state. Now interested students can take spot admission till 18 August 2025.

Earlier the last date for spot admission was 10 August 2025. According to the release number PR 173/2025 of the committee, this decision has been taken keeping in view the convenience of the students.

Information about vacant seats: Educational institutions will have to display the information about the available vacant seats at three different places on their notice board.

Application process: Students who could not enroll in the earlier OFSS process will now be able to apply afresh under spot admission. This is also applicable for those students who were selected in the first, second or third list but could not enroll due to some reason.

Documents and Process: Interested students can apply by meeting the principal of the college or school where they want to enroll. Students passing from CBSE, CISCE and other boards will also be eligible for enrollment.

Educational institutions will have to update the information of all the students enrolled in spot admission online on the OFSS portal by 19 August 2025. Failure to do so may cause problems for students appearing in the annual examination.

This move is a big relief for thousands of students who could not enroll earlier due to some reason. This extended period of spot admission will ensure that no eligible student is deprived of intermediate studies.
