PATNA----------------------The two-day national conference of Socialist Party (India), held in Patna, the capital of Bihar, not only formed a new national executive and state committee, but also made a big political announcement regarding the upcoming Bihar assembly elections. The party has made it clear that it will contest on all 243 assembly seats in the state.
With the conclusion of the conference on Saturday, the party announced its new command. Sheikh Noorul Amin of Telangana has been unanimously elected as the new national president of the party, while the command of Bihar state has been handed over to Dhananjay Kumar Sinha.
Election observer Mahendra Yadav said that after the nomination process was completed by August 9, the new national and state committees were announced on the morning of August 10. The tenure of the new committee will be two years.
Along with President Noorul Amin, these prominent names are included in the National Committee: National Vice Presidents: Rajinder Kaur Dani, C.P. John, Mir Shahid Salim and Sulekha Adam, Principal General Secretary: Dr. Sandeep Pandey, General Secretary: Harinder Mansahiya, Rambabu Agarwal, Racha Subhadra Reddy, Vandana Pandey and Tarakeshwar Singh, National Spokesperson: Manoj Sarang
Apart from this, many other leaders like Vidya Nayak, Syed Tahseen Ahmed have also been given various responsibilities at the national level., Command of Bihar in Dhananjay's hands, announcement to contest elections on all 243 seats
Many new faces have emerged in the Bihar State Executive along with President Dhananjay Kumar Sinha. Kundan Kishore, Sangeeta Kumari and Dukhi Lal Yadav have been made State Vice Presidents. Ajay Sahni, Nashoor Ajmal and Shraddha Suman will take over the responsibility of General Secretary.
The biggest and important announcement of the conference was made in the last session. State President Dhananjay Kumar Sinha announced that the party will contest the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections with full force and will field its candidates on all 243 seats. This is considered to be a major strategy of the Socialist Party to strengthen its position in Bihar.
New office bearers have also been elected in organizational units like Socialist Yuvajan Sabha, Kisan Sabha, Student Union and Mahila Sabha, who will work to increase the party's mass base. Members from many states including Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Tamil Nadu also participated in this conference, which has strengthened the national form of the party.
