SASARAM-------------------------As directed by Inspector Sanjeev Kumar, in-charge of Railway Protection Force Post Sasaram, and Arjun Kumar Yadav, DDU, Crime Branch, Railway Protection Force, Sub-Inspector D.S. Ranawat, Constable Pankaj Kumar Singh, Constable Bablesh Kumar Meena, all of Railway Protection Force Post Sasaram, and Assistant Sub-Inspector Satish Kumar Singh, Constable Subhash Rai, both of Crime Intelligence Branch, DDU, were conducting criminal surveillance at Sasaram Railway Station to control crime on trains, monitor criminal activity, and apprehend criminals in view of the Bihar elections, as directed by senior officers.

In the process, two individuals were apprehended with eight bags full of foreign and country liquor. Both individuals were disembarked from the Mahabodhi Express on platform number three of Sasaram station. The arrested young liquor dealers, Ankit Kumar Gupta, are from Sakri village in the Kudra police station area of ​​Kaimur district, and Suman Kumar is from Padri village in the Shivsagar police station area. A total of 109.345 liters of foreign and domestic liquor, with an estimated value of ₹81,000, was recovered from them.
