PATNA--------------------------RJD MLA Ritlal Yadav is currently lodged in jail and now his troubles seem to be increasing. Police has filed a chargesheet against RJD MLA. 

RJD MLA Ritlal Yadav is currently lodged in jail. Police has filed a chargesheet against Ritlal Yadav. Actually, Patna Police has filed a chargesheet against five accused including RJD MLA Ritlal Yadav of Danapur on charges of demanding extortion from the builder and collecting money by intimidation. On Monday, this chargesheet was filed in the court of Special Judicial Magistrate of MP-MLA located in Patna Civil Court.

The whole matter is related to the FIR lodged in Khagaul police station. Khagaul police station in-charge has confirmed the filing of the chargesheet. After completing the investigation, investigator Kumar Abhinav filed a chargesheet against MLA Ritlal Yadav, his brother Pinku Yadav, Chinku alias Shailendra Yadav, Shravan Yadav and Sunil Mahajan. The accused are accused of extorting money from builders by forming an organized gang.

After the police raid, MLA Ritlal Yadav, his brother Pinku Yadav, Chikku and Shravan surrendered in Danapur court on April 17. The court sent all three to judicial custody and sent them to Beur jail. Currently, MLA Ritlal Yadav is lodged in Bhagalpur jail.

On April 10, builder Rakesh Ranjan filed an FIR against the MLA and others in Khagaul police station. After this, Danapur ASP Bhanu Pratap Singh raided the house and other hideouts of the accused in Konthwa. During this period, the police searched 11 places and recovered about Rs 10.5 lakh in cash, blank cheques worth Rs 77.5 lakh, several land documents, 17 cheque books, five stamps, six pen drives and walkie-talkies.
