-The Retina Conclave was successfully organized on 20th July at Hotel Panash in Patna under the joint aegis of 'Young Ophthalmologist of India' and 'Drishtipunj Eye Hospital'. More than 150 ophthalmologists from across the country, including Bihar, participated in this special conference.

PATNA-----------------------The Retina Conclave was successfully organized on 20th July at Hotel Panash in Patna under the joint aegis of 'Young Ophthalmologist of India' and 'Drishtipunj Eye Hospital'. More than 150 ophthalmologists from across the country, including Bihar, participated in this special conference.
The chief guest of the program was Jivesh Mishra, Urban Development Minister of Bihar Government. Mr. Mishra called upon the new generation of eye doctors to serve the people by being equipped with state-of-the-art technologies. On this occasion, the senior eye doctor of the state was honored with Guru Samman, which also added emotional energy to the event.
In the conclave, modern investigation techniques of complex diseases of the retina were discussed in detail. Experts gave lectures on the functioning and utility of imaging techniques like OCT, angiography, ultrasound and autofluorescence. Many renowned experts including Dr. Anjana Mirajkar (Pune), Dr. Avnindra Gupta (New Delhi), Dr. Bhuvan Chanana, Dr. Kartikeya Singh (Varanasi), Dr. Kushal Delhiwala (Ahmedabad), Dr. Shishir Varghese (Kerala) shared their experiences.
Senior ophthalmologists of Drishtipunj Eye Hospital, Dr. Bandana Tiwari, Dr. Naveen Jha, Dr. Nilesh Kumar, Dr. Ratnesh Ranjan and Dr. Satya Prakash Tiwari shed light on the new challenges and their solutions in the field of retina treatment in Bihar.
Young eye doctors participating in the conference said that such programs give them in-depth knowledge of the latest investigation methods and treatment techniques, which will enable them to provide better service to patients in the future.
