QAYAMUDDIN QUESTIONS THE DM ASTO WHY DISTANCE FROM FLOOD VICTIMS

ARA-------------------------CPI-ML leader and former Mahagathbandhan supported candidate of Ara assembly Qayamuddin Ansari said that he reached Pironta early this morning on a tractor where after seeing the miserable condition of flood victims, he first tried to talk to the disaster officer but he did not pick up the phone.

CPI-ML leader Qayamuddin Ansari said that he talked to SDO Ara on phone for flood relief and also talked to the District Officer on phone. He told that in the conversation with the District Officer, he said that your flood relief work is going on in Barhara where dry ration, tarpaulin is being distributed but why distance from the flood victims of Ara block?

CPI (ML) leader Qayamuddin Ansari said that there is no arrangement of boats and no government flood relief anywhere in Pironta, Yadavpur, Pipra Jaipal, Nagapur, Chaumukha, Jagwalia, Tetriyan, Mathiya, Dhedhta of Pironta Panchayat.

Mr. Ansari said that the District Officer assured that flood relief work will be started soon in all the villages of Ara block.

CPI (ML) leader Qayamuddin Ansari said that we will wait for the flood relief work of the District Officer in Ara Assembly.

CPI (ML) leader Qayamuddin Ansari met the Mahadalit people who have taken shelter at Pironta School. He told that they do not have food grains to eat and they do not have a single tarpaulin to live in. The ML leader said that the Ara CO is absconding during the disaster, the District Officer should take strict action against him.

CPI (ML) leader Qayamuddin Ansari has demanded from the district administration that first of all the District Officer should declare Ara Sadar block as flood area and speed up the relief work.

CPI (ML) leader Qayamuddin Ansari met former Mukhiya Vijay Yadav, current Mukhiya's husband Guddu Yadav as well as common flood victims as well as CPI (ML) leader Harishankar Sah.

During this time, youth leader Vijay Yadav, Mohd. Masroor Alam and Arif Iqbal were also with Qayamuddin Ansari.
