ARA-------------------------On the occasion of the 110th birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, the tenth national president of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh and a great thinker, the All India Jana Sangh's district unit organized a symposium at the Friends Colony office. On this occasion, garlands were offered and tributes were paid to the portraits of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, and Prof. Balraj Madhok. District President Madheshwar Nath Pandey presided over the symposium. Speaking as the keynote speaker, Acharya Dr. Bharat Bhushan Pandey, National President of the Jana Sangh, said that politics is a form of ethical governance, but today politics has become a haven for injustice, anarchy, crime, and all forms of corruption. He said that the great thinker Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay was a skilled organizer, a visionary politician, and a pioneer of integral humanism, working as a grassroots worker. He was a great man dedicated wholeheartedly to simplicity, purity, and adherence to principles in politics. The Jan Sangh President said that today's political ideals have become people endowed with muscle and money power, which is completely harmful for society. Freeing politics from corrupt elements, serving society selflessly and without any attachment, and creating an environment in accordance with one's principles while remaining equanimous in victory and defeat are Deendayal's greatest inspiration and the Jan Sangh's greatest path. Acharya Bharat Bhushan said that if society fails to bring forward capable and honest people, the country's future could be dire. He said that Deendayal was concerned about the upliftment of the person standing at the bottom of the society. Only through Antyodaya will the nation become self-reliant and strong. The Jan Sangh leader said that today the gap between the rich and the poor is widening, and corruption is causing immense suffering for the poor. This cannot be addressed merely by empty slogans of regime change; rather, it can be corrected by changing the mindset and character of the people. National Executive Committee member Advocate Satyendra Narayan Singh said that Acharya Bharat Bhushan Pandey, who has contested three consecutive Assembly and three Lok Sabha elections and diligently followed Deendayal's ideals, has given the Jan Sangh a new identity across the country and established work in fourteen states. He said that Deendayal was an advocate of grassroots change. The Jan Sangh is a worker-based party. In his presidential address, Madheshwar Nath Pandey said that the Jan Sangh is committed to inspiring society with Deendayal's ideals. Despite severe lack of resources, we are firmly moving forward on the path of duty. The program was conducted by Virendra Prasad Srivastava, welcome speech was given by Jaiprakash Tiwari and vote of thanks was given by Dhruv Kumar Singh. On this occasion, prominent leaders like Vishwanath Dubey, Akhilesh Tiwari, Narmadeshwar Upadhyay, Dr Satyanarayan Upadhyay, Mrityunjay, Surendra Mishra, Siyaram Dubey, Brajkishore Pandey etc. paid tribute to Deendayal ji and stressed on the purification of politics and service to the society.
