PRESIDENT GAVE MESSAGE OF UNITY, COURAGE AND PROGRESS

DELHI (RNI) President Draupadi Murmu addressed the nation on the eve of Independence Day and gave the message of unity, courage and progress. In her address, she described India's swift and decisive action 'Operation Sindoor' after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir in April as a historic example in the fight against terrorism. The President said that the Pahalgam terror attack was a cowardly and completely inhuman act on innocent civilians. She said in clear words, "Operation Sindoor was carried out decisively and with unwavering resolve. It proved that our armed forces are ready and capable to protect the country in every situation." India united against terrorism President Murmu said that the entire country stood united after the Pahalgam attack. In response to this incident, 'Operation Sindoor' was not only successful from the military point of view, but it also became a symbol of national unity and determination. He said, "This operation will go down in history in humanity's fight against terrorism. It was a fitting reply to those who want to divide us." Referring to the response of the international community, the President said the world saw that India does not adopt an aggressive attitude, but never hesitates to take the necessary retaliation to protect its citizens.

Atmanirbhar Bharat and Defence Capability In his address, the President described 'Operation Sindoor' as a test case of the Atmanirbhar Bharat Mission in the defence sector. He said the result of this operation proved that the country is moving in the right direction in terms of defence production and strategic capabilities. "We have shown that we can not only become self-reliant, but also achieve high levels of technical and strategic efficiency," he said.

Education, skills and values In her speech, President Murmu laid special emphasis on education and skill development of youth. She said the National Education Policy 2020 has brought about far-reaching changes in the field of education. This policy is working to link education with values and skills with tradition. He said that the government is rapidly increasing employment opportunities for the youth. A favorable environment has been created in the country for the youth who want to step towards entrepreneurship. “Today's India is committed to giving its youth the necessary resources to dream and realize them,” he added.

New heights in space program The President also mentioned the progress of the country's space program. He described the achievement of Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla, who visited the International Space Station, as historic. The President said that this achievement is not only a milestone but also a milestone in the career of the Indian astronaut.
