ARA--------------------------The PRE PhD Admission Test (PAT) 2024-24 examination conducted by Veer Kunwar Singh University was held in a peaceful environment at four centers located at the headquarters on Tuesday. The university administration conducted a search operation of the candidates at the gate under the leadership of the District Magistrate at all the examination centers. Whoever was found with anything, he was taken out there itself. Mobiles and devices of many candidates were caught, they were being allowed to go inside by keeping them outside. Let us tell you that everyone's eyes were on the PhD entrance examination taken at Ara headquarters. Strong arrangements were made to ensure that there is no disturbance of any kind. The district administration also cooperated in the PhD entrance examination. Adequate number of police force was deputed at all the centers. While observers were deployed by the university. The flying squad team also conducted a surprise inspection of the centers. University's examination controller Dr Anwar Imam and proctor Dr Lal Babu inspected all the centres simultaneously. 3200 candidates were to appear in the PhD entrance examination in various subjects, but the data of how many candidates appeared was not available. Candidates were given entry after a thorough search. Intensive checking was done at the main gate itself. Here, the centre superintendents also visited the examination hall several times. On the instructions of Vice Chancellor Prof Shailendra Kumar Chaturvedi, Principal Dr Narendra Kumar, Dr Abha Singh and Dr Meena Kumari were seen strict about a malpractice-free examination. Necessary guidelines were issued for conducting a malpractice-free examination. Jammers were also installed at the centres. Along with this, the examination was also videographed. The examination was conducted in two shifts. The PhD entrance examination was conducted at HD Jain College, Maharaja College, SB College and MM Mahila College centres. The first paper was conducted from 11 am to 12 noon while the second paper was conducted from 1 pm to 3 pm. Objective questions were asked in the first shift, while in the second shift, questions were asked according to the subject.

The district administration provided full support for a peaceful and malpractice-free examination. For this, VC Prof Shailendra Kumar Chaturvedi expressed gratitude to District Magistrate Tanay Sultania and SP Mr. Raj. He also congratulated the centre superintendent, invigilators and staff for conducting a malpractice-free examination. Meanwhile, Senate member Santosh Tiwari, former senator Ajay Kumar Tiwari Munmun and others congratulated the VC as well as the examination controller Dr Anwar Imam for the peaceful examination.
