It is being told of Vikramganj police station area of ​​​​Rohtas where Satyanarayan Gupta, a resident of Dhangai of Bikramganj, died in a road accident on 16 May 2025. The road accident took place near the SDO residence on Bikramganj-Natwar Road at 7 pm. The injured in the incident was admitted to Narayan Medical College in Jamuhar by his son Vijay Kumar Gupta at 9 pm on the same day i.e. 16 May. He was treated for six days i.e. till 21 May. After this, he died on the morning of 22 May. After this, on 22nd May itself, the body was sent by Narayan Medical College and Hospital Jamuhar Police Chowki to Sadar Hospital Sasaram with a request letter for postmortem. Where the postmortem was done in Sadar Hospital on 22nd May itself.

At the same time, the son of the deceased had duly received the body of his father from the postmortem house with a written receipt. But, when it came to issuing the postmortem report, the postmortem report of the deceased was prepared a day earlier i.e. on 21st May 2025. Whereas Satyanarayan was alive on 21st. Since then, the Health Department is once again in the dock. At the same time, the matter has been brought to the notice of the Civil Surgeon, DM to the Secretary of the Health Department including the Ministry of Health, India.

The victim has given information with evidence of preparing the postmortem report on the wrong date. At the same time, the son of the deceased is also facing problems due to the preparation of the postmortem report on the wrong date. He is facing difficulty in filing the claim of accident insurance under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana of his father on time. He told that due to the negligence of the Health Department, the postmortem report has been prepared on the wrong date. Due to this, we are facing a lot of problems.
