The Bihar Special Task Force (STF) has achieved a major success, arresting Patna's most wanted man, who had been absconding for 12 years. His name is Durgesh Mishra, who faces dozens of charges, including murder, extortion, robbery, and the Arms Act.
Acting on a tip-off, the Bihar Special Task Force (STF) team laid a trap in Lohanipur, Rajendra Nagar, and apprehended the most wanted man, Durgesh Mishra, alias Golu Pandit, from a rented house. He is a resident of Chakram, Buddha Colony, and had been absconding since 2014 and had been changing his location frequently for the past 12 years.
Furthermore, to evade police detection, he had also changed his appearance. He shaved his beard and moustache and wore a cap to evade police detection. He was hiding in the Lohanipur area and did not come out of his house often, but as soon as the police got information about this, the STF surrounded him and arrested him.
According to information, most wanted Durgesh Mishra has dozens of serious cases registered against him including murder, extortion, robbery and Arms Act. Durgesh Mishra is also accused of murdering a property dealer in Patna's Beur area in 2020 and kidnapping an engineer in Danapur's Rupaspur, Gopalpur and Kotwali areas.
