POLICE ARRESTED A PERSON FOR SLAUGHTERING A BULL RELEASED IN THE NAME OF GOD

BHABHUA------------------------A case of hurting religious sentiments came to light in the Chainpur police station area of the district. Bhim Pasi, a resident of Chainpur market, alleges that some local butchers brutally killed and sold a bull released by him in the name of Lord Shankar. A complaint was lodged in the police station in this regard by the victim, according to the charge sheet given by the victim Bhim Pasi, he had released a bull in the name of Lord Shankar with full devotion and religious faith. Gulgula, Budhu and another youth, sons of Mangaru butcher, caught the bull from near his house and took it away with the intention of slaughtering it. Hurt by this incident, the victim had lodged a named complaint against the accused in the Chainpur police station. On the basis of the victim's complaint, the police administration registered a case on Tuesday under case number 369/2025, sections 303(2)/325/3(5) of the Indian Penal Code and 11(1)/(D)11(1)/E/11(1)/F of the Animal Cruelty Act, and action was underway. On Wednesday, under the leadership of police station chief Vijay Prasad, the police administration arrested the accused Mallu Qureshi, son of Ajay Mulla Qureshi alias Mangru Qureshi, a resident of Chainpur Tola, under the police station area, who was sent to judicial custody on Thursday after a health check-up. The chief informed that raids are continuing to arrest other accused.
