PEOPLE OF KAIMUR HILLS WILL GET RELIEF FROM DRINKING WATER CRISIS

BHABHUA-------------------------Good news for the people of Kaimur Hills. Bihar government has approved a drinking water project worth Rs 293 crore. Pure water will be supplied through pipes from Son River. 41 wards of seven panchayats of Adhaura block will benefit. Boring will be done on the banks of Son River. The work is expected to be completed in two years.

Even after independence, the people of Kaimur Hills have to face the problem of water. Villagers still wander for several kilometers for water. But now the Bihar government has approved Rs 293 crore for pure drinking water. 41 wards of seven panchayats of Adhaura block will be benefited by this scheme. For this, 9 borings will be done on the banks of Son River, in which supply will be done from 6 borings and 3 will be standby.

3 thousand 140 kilometers of water will be stored by making a master ground storage reserve wire in Sadki village. Due to this, people of Adhaura, Aathan, Barwan Kala, Chainpura, Dumraonwa, Sadki, Sarodag Panchayat of Adhaura block will get pure water. There are 108 villages on Kaimur hill which are divided into two blocks, 11 panchayats of Adhaura block and 2 panchayats of Chainpur are located on Kaimur hill. During the Pragati Yatra of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, it was announced to start a pure drinking water scheme for the people of Kaimur hill.

Let us tell you that the ground water level on Kaimur hill is very low due to which there is a problem of water. There is a lot of problem of water from March to June. People wander for several kilometers from morning for water, only then people's thirst is quenched. Now there is an atmosphere of happiness among the people of Kaimur hill due to the possibility of solving the water problem.

Executive Engineer of PHED department Ravi Prakash said that the cabinet has approved the pure drinking water supply scheme on Kaimur hill. Pure drinking water will be supplied through pipes in 7 panchayats of Adhaura block at a cost of 293 crores. First, water will be lifted from the Son river and then supplied. The work will be completed in two years and the maintenance will be done by the agency for seven years. For this, tender work has to be done soon.
