A passenger died due to suffocation in Bhagalpur Intercity Express in Danapur Railway Subdivision. Due to overcrowding in the train, a passenger died due to suffocation between Bakhtiyarpur and Barh station. The deceased has been identified as Ranjit Kumar, 35 years old, resident of Dalismanchak village of Barh police station area. Colleagues told that after working in Bakhtiyarpur, the mason boarded the down Bhagalpur Intercity train to come to Barh station along with other workers.

PATNA--------------------------A passenger died due to suffocation in Bhagalpur Intercity Express in Danapur Railway Subdivision. Due to overcrowding in the train, a passenger died due to suffocation between Bakhtiyarpur and Barh station. The deceased has been identified as Ranjit Kumar, 35 years old, resident of Dalismanchak village of Barh police station area. Colleagues told that after working in Bakhtiyarpur, the mason boarded the down Bhagalpur Intercity train to come to Barh station along with other workers.

The train was crowded with passengers. Due to humidity and heat, Ranjit's health deteriorated on reaching Athmalgola station and he fell unconscious. Apart from this, the health of two-three passengers also deteriorated. Ranjit was immediately brought to Barh subdivision hospital under the supervision of the policeman posted at Barh railway station, where the doctor declared the passenger dead after examination.
