ONE KILLED, TWO INJURED IN RAPID FIRING IN ROHTAS

SASARAM---------------------------Criminals in the district carried out a major incident on Saturday evening. Bike-riding criminals opened indiscriminate fire in Chandwa village of Shivsagar block. Three people were shot in this incident, out of which one died during treatment.

The deceased has been identified as Jokhan Sah, a resident of the village. At the same time, Kamlesh Yadav alias Ojha and another person injured by the bullet are being treated at Sasaram Sadar Hospital. The condition of both is said to be critical.

After the incident, there is an atmosphere of chaos and panic in the village. Villagers said that the criminals arrived on a bike and suddenly started firing. Mutual rivalry and criminal factionalism are suspected to be behind the incident.

As soon as the information about the firing was received, a large number of police forces including SDO and SDPO reached the spot and the village was converted into a police camp. Some of the accused have been caught by the villagers from the spot and handed over to the police.

At present, the police is engaged in a thorough investigation of the case. The reason behind the crime has not been revealed yet. The body has been sent for post-mortem and the police has intensified patrolling in the village.
