NITISH KUMAR SHOULD ALSO PAY HEED TO THE MATTER OF 65% RESERVATION

ARA---------------------------Nitish Kumar has led Bihar towards many social and economic reforms. His decisions in areas like education, health, panchayat empowerment and women's participation have been historic. Now that the caste census of the state has been made public and it has become clear that the population of backward and extremely backward classes is in majority, increasing the reservation limit from 50% to 65% has become the need of the hour.

Today, when the state government is implementing policies like 125 unit electricity waiver, schemes for youth, and reservation for women, there is an opportunity to strengthen the real foundation of social justice - proper representation.

In Bihar, the assembly has already passed the proposal of 65% reservation unanimously. Now there is a need for Nitish Kumar to take initiative to get it constitutional protection using his experience, influence and power of coordination with the central government.

This is not just a demand of backward classes, it is a voice of social balance and inclusive development.
