PATNA--------------------------The last session of the legislature before the Bihar assembly elections began on Monday. Before the assembly elections, there is a heated discussion about the political legacy of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. On Sunday, it was the birthday of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's son Nishant Kumar, on this occasion Upendra Kushwaha advised Nitish Kumar to hand over the command of JDU to Nishant. After this, now former Chief Minister and RJD leader Rabri Devi has targeted Nitish Kumar on the increasing crime in Bihar and advised to make Nishant the CM.
While talking to journalists in Patna, Rabri Devi said that crime has increased. Crime has increased in the whole of Bihar. The law and order situation in Bihar is not good. Nitish Kumar is not able to handle it. Nitish Kumar is also the Home Minister and the Chief Minister but he is not able to handle it. After this, when Rabri Devi was asked whether Nitish Kumar should resign? Then the RJD leader said, 'Whether you resign or not, make your son the Chief Minister. If you are not able to handle it, then your son will handle it.'
At the same time, Rabri Devi has also expressed her views on the special intensive voter revision program going on in the state before the Bihar elections. Rabri Devi said that the names of voters are being deleted and this is wrong. She raised the question that the person whose name will be deleted is he not a citizen of Bihar or India? Rabri Devi further said, 'The names of three crore people who go out have been deleted, it is doing wrong. The Election Commission should understand that it is a rainy day, a flood day and people go out to earn money. We demand from the Government of India and the Election Commission that wherever there are Biharis outside Bihar, all of them should be called and then their voter ID cards should be made.'
Let us tell you here that earlier on Sunday, on the occasion of CM Nitish's son Nishant's birthday, RLMO President Upendra Kushwaha had also given an advice to CM Nitish Kumar. Upendra Kushwaha had urged CM Nitish to leave the command of JDU now. Posting on Instagram, Upendra Kushwaha had said, 'Information has been received from media/social media that today is the birthday of Nishant, son of elder brother respected Nitish Kumar ji. On this occasion of happiness, many happy wishes to JDU's new hope Nishant. May God always keep him healthy and happy.
On this occasion, a very humble request to respected Nitish Kumar ji is that understanding the delicacy of time and situation, please accept the truth that now running both the government and the party (together) is not appropriate even for him. He has a long experience of running the government and it is very important for the state to continue to benefit from it in the future.
But he should take a concrete decision on the issue of transfer of responsibility of the party (which time has come now in the opinion of not only me but also thousands of workers/leaders of his own party). This is in the interest of his party. And delay in this can cause irreparable loss to the party. Perhaps such a loss which can never be compensated. (Note – Whatever I am saying, JDU leaders may not be able to say to the Chief Minister and even if some people can say it, then such people would not be able to reach there.)
Earlier this year in the month of March, when there was a controversy regarding the movement of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar during the national anthem, then at that time also Rabri Devi had given some advice to CM Nitish. Targeting Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on this matter, Rabri Devi said that if his mind is not working then he should make his son CM. Rabri Devi had said on the controversy over the national anthem that it is an insult to the entire country. She had said that the CM's mental condition is not good and that if the NDA wants, it can make Nitish's son or anyone else the Chief Minister.
