ARA---------------------------Bhojpur district in-charge minister Kedar Gupta was going to Jawainiya village of Shahpur region on Monday to take stock of the situation of flood victims. But, instead of reaching among the victims of Jawainiya village, the minister decided to return from outside after crossing the Gaura bridge after seeing the flood water on the road. Due to which an atmosphere of anger and disappointment was created among the erosion affected people. People started saying, “The minister ran away after seeing the water.

On this, the local MLA Rahul Tiwari said that due to the erosion by the Ganga river in the district, the entire Jawainiya village has been destroyed. Only a few houses are left. Now the situation is that the people of the block are suffering due to the flood and the water has gone above their heads, then what is the use of the minister's visit among the erosion victims? The question arises that when the minister had to go to meet the erosion victims, why did he fail to reach there despite all the resources being available?

The MLA sarcastically said that it remained a political tourist trip altogether. The erosion victims were hoping that the minister would come, understand their pain and provide them with the necessary facilities. But the local BJP leaders proved the saying “dug a mountain and found a mouse” true.

The MLA said that it was clear from Sunday evening itself that the way the flood water was rising, the road would be closed. Did the officials not inform the minister in charge about this situation? The minister returned after seeing the flood water on the road, which makes it clear that the responsibility of the local BJP leaders is limited to mere formalities.
