MEETING OF THE MAHAGATHBANDHAN LEADERS REGARDING BIHAR BAND

ARA----------------------------A one-day meeting of the Bhojpur unit of the Coordination Committee of India Alliance was held under the chairmanship of District Coordinator cum RJD's Bhojpur District President Veerbal Yadav. The success of the Bihar Bandh called on July 9 was discussed in the meeting. Addressing the meeting, RJD District President Veerbal Yadav said that the Election Commission of India is conspiratorially conducting voter re-inspection at the behest of the Modi government. This conspiracy is to remove the names of migrant laborers, poor and common voters of Bihar from the voter list. He also said that about 3 crore poor families have migrated out of Bihar and they are being mentally tortured in this revision.

On the other hand, while addressing the meeting, former Legislative Councilor Laldas Rai said that the Bihar Bandh organized on the above issues will be very effective and widespread in Bhojpur. The Election Commission should work independently but now it seems that the Election Commission has become a puppet in the hands of BJP and RSS. This fight against their anti-people policies will be decisive in Bhojpur.

Addressing the gathering, Agiaon MLA Shiv Prakash Ranjan said that the BJP government and its allies in collusion with the Election Commission will never allow the Hitlerian action of deleting the names of the villagers, poor, farmers, laborers from the voter list to be completed. He took the Modi government as well as his allies Chirag Paswan and Jitan Ram Manjhi to task and said that the people for whom he falsely supports, want to snatch the right to vote from him. This is a big attack on democracy.

It was decided in the meeting that people will gather in the railway premises in the morning at Ara, the headquarters of Bhojpur district, and from there, various squares and intersections will be completely closed. At the same time, all the constituent parties of the India Alliance at each block level will make the Bihar Bandh successful with mutual coordination and there will be a complete traffic jam at all places. India Alliance, Bhojpur has urged to join the public movement against this attack on democracy.

RJD district head general secretary Ram Babu Paswan, CPI-ML central committee member Raju Yadav, CPI leader Uttam Prasad, VIP district president Om Prakash Bind, RLSP district president Rajeshwar Singh, RJD spokesperson Alok Ranjan, vice president Mantu Sharma, Om Prakash Sharma, Dilraj Pritam, Kayamuddin Ansari, Madho Singh, Vijay Yadav, Sudhir Kumar, Chandan Kumar and others were present in the meeting.
