RAJIV NAYAN AGRAWAL

ARA------------------------On 12/10/2025, the Eastern Zonal President chaired a meeting at the ICMARD building in Calcutta, attended by the presidents and secretaries of the above-mentioned organizations from Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Tripura, and Bengal. The meeting initially observed a two-minute silence for the peace of the souls of our country's martyrs.

The following points were discussed in the meeting: 1. The MACP (Maximum Support Price) should be increased for pre-2006 pensioners under the Eighth Pay Commission.

2. The MSP (Maximum Support Price) of all ranks, i.e., ORs and JCOs, should be equal to that of officers.

3. An OR rank member from the National Ex-Servicemen Coordination Committee should be included in the Pay Commission Committee so that he or she can represent the concerns of ORs.

4. The fitment factor in the Pay Commission should be equal for all ranks of the Army.

5. The pension of ORs should be at the maximum scale of their pay band.

6. The number of delegates to the CEC meeting to be held in Kerala should be one for every one hundred from each state.

7. In future, states hosting CEC meetings will take full care of the visiting delegates so that they do not face any problems regarding accommodation, food, and drinks.

It was also decided in the meeting that meetings should be held in each state in turn and more members should be added to strengthen the organization so that the union becomes even stronger.

Bihar State President Nardeveshwar Shukla asked all the ex-servicemen/widows of war veterans from his state to write down their problems in the group.

Finally, the proceedings were concluded with the national anthem.
