ARA--------------------------A serious incident occurred on Saturday evening in Bhakura village, under the Mufassil police station area near Ara city, where an armed assailant shot a young man who had come to attend a funeral ceremony. The young man was seriously injured in the incident, and his condition remains critical. The incident caused a sensation in the area, and the police have launched a thorough investigation.

According to the information, 25-year-old Golu Kumar, son of the late Santosh Singh, a resident of Baligaon in the Ayar police station area, was targeted by the criminals. Golu Kumar was shot in the right side of his chest, causing him to fall and sustain serious injuries. He was immediately admitted to a private hospital in Babu Bazar, Ara city, for treatment.

The main reason behind this incident is said to be a dispute over an illicit affair. There had been a long-standing dispute between the two parties over the alleged illicit relationship between the injured young man, Golu Kumar's wife, and the accused. On Saturday evening, when Golu Kumar reached Bhakura village to attend the funeral ceremony, he encountered the accused young man, who is said to be his wife's alleged lover. A heated argument ensued between the two, after which the accused young man shot Golu Kumar, seriously injuring him.

Upon receiving information about the incident, Mufassil Station House Officer Deepak Kumar immediately reached the spot with the police force. The police have taken swift action and started investigating the matter. The SHO said that all aspects are being seriously investigated and the accused will be arrested soon. Meanwhile, the injured Golu Kumar has accused the young man of shooting him because of his illicit relationship with his wife.

Dr. Vikas Singh, the surgeon treating the injured young man, provided information about his health condition. According to Dr. Singh, the bullet hit Golu Kumar in the right arm, piercing his ribs and exiting from his right back. The bullet wound has caused severe damage to his lungs and ribs. Doctors are immediately conducting a CT scan, after which surgery will be performed. Dr. Singh stated that the patient's condition remains critical and the next few hours are crucial.
