ARA--------------------------In the by-election for the post of two ward councilors of Shahpur Nagar Panchayat, Madhubala Devi from ward number 7 was declared elected by defeating her nearest rival by 49 votes. In the by-election held in Shahpur ward number 7, five candidates were trying their luck in the electoral fray. Voting was held on 28 June and today on 30 June, the counting of votes was done in Kisan Bhawan located in Jagdishpur block premises. In which Madhubala Kumari got 425 votes, Draupadi Devi got 376 votes, Punita Kumari got 74 votes, Meera Devi got 45 votes, Renu Devi got 34 votes. In this way Madhubala Kumari was declared victorious by 49 votes. Madhubala Kumari said that the complete development of her ward is my first priority. Roads and taps will be constructed in the ward. Her husband Chandan Kumar Pandey said that this victory is the victory of the people of the ward. The work of standing up to the trust of the people will be done. Whatever the problem of the ward, all the problems will be solved. And the problems of the ward will be put forward prominently in the board meeting. The complete development of the ward will be the first priority. After being elected, Jagdishpur Tehsildar Amarendra Kumar gave the certificate to ward member Madhubala Kumari. Madhubala Kumari was declared victorious at 10 am on Monday.
