SASARAM----------------------------In Bihar's Sasaram district, an atmosphere of fear prevailed among the local people due to the terror of a mad dog in Atimiganj, Jamalpur and Hariharganj of Nasriganj block. On Sunday morning, the mad dog bit about 50 people in one and a half hours. During this time, many cattle also fell prey to the dog. Stampede-like situation was created due to the terror of the dog. Finally, the angry villagers surrounded the dog and killed it. It is said that on Sunday morning, people were terrified due to the terror of a mad dog. In no time, the dog bit about 50 people. People started running here and there due to the terror of the dog. A stampede-like situation was created for some time. Seeing the terror, the youth of Hariharganj ward number 14 surrounded the dog and killed it.

Local people told that on Sunday morning at 5 o'clock, the mad dog started attacking the villagers of Atimiganj who had come out for a morning walk. He said that whoever was seen on the road, the dog kept on preying on him. Some were bitten on the throat, some on the legs and hands. After first aid, the injured were given anti-rabies injection.

A crowd of villagers kept on gathering at the PHC till afternoon to get the injection. PHC Medical Officer Dr. NK Arya said that dozens of villagers from Atimiganj, Jamalpur, Hariharganj and Nasriganj have been given rabies injection. As soon as the information of the incident was received, social workers including local public representatives also reached the hospital. Social worker Shyamul Haq, Twenty Point Chairman Dr. Amrendra Kumar, Ward Councilor Shamshad Ahmed Parsavi, representative Baban Kumar Singh, Subhash Chaudhary, Ajmeri Qureshi, Nagar Panchayat workers Rambabu Kumar, Dheeraj Kumar etc. were present on the occasion.

Chief Councilor Shabnam Ara said that in view of the current crisis, the city administration has taken an important decision. Under which the stray dogs of the city will be caught and handed over to the forest department. The campaign to catch dogs will be started soon.
