BHABHUA---------------------------A news has come from the district where illegal liquor business was going on under the cover of khaki uniform. Police has caught a Scorpio car on which "Police" sticker was pasted and liquor was being smuggled. In this case, two people including a police constable have been arrested. This incident happened near Suvaran river bridge in Bhabhua police station area. Police team was searching vehicles under vehicle checking process. Then their eyes fell on a suspicious Scorpio, on which "Police" board was pasted. Seeing the police coming towards them, the driver of the Scorpio left the car and fled from the spot. When the police searched the car, they were surprised. 478 bottles of Officer Choice and 6 bottles of beer were recovered from inside the car, which is a total of 89 liters of English liquor. Police caught two people in the car on the spot. One of the arrested persons has been identified as Gautam Kumar, a constable posted in the Begusarai district force. A government pistol and live cartridges have also been recovered from him. The second arrested person is Vidya Charan, a resident of Khagaria district. This incident raises many serious questions. Last year, liquor was recovered from an Innova car bearing the board of the District Deputy Election Officer. Have the spirits of liquor smugglers become so high that they are smuggling by putting police stickers? And when the protector himself becomes the predator, then whom should the common people trust? If sources are to be believed, then due to prohibition of liquor in Bihar, seeing the huge profits, a lot of smugglers are active by putting up boards in the name of police, press, Bihar government, Government of India or other officials. Not only this, there have been many cases where administrative personnel are also active in the liquor business. Along with this, the media personnel of the district also gave evidence against the growers of ganja in large quantities for two years to the higher officials of the state including the local high officials, but the administration tried to add achievements to its work list by destroying some crops by evading the matter.

Despite the informant giving information, when they do not get any money from the dealers, they prove them guilty, otherwise the matter is hushed up by giving and taking and on the contrary, the informant is made the accused and made to run around the court.

The police is now searching for the absconding driver and has started investigating this matter in depth. The police has sent the arrested accused to judicial custody after health check-up.
