ARA---------------------------A bike rider LIC agent died after being hit by an unknown vehicle near the Geedha Overbridge of Geedha police station area of ​​the district on Ara-Patna National Highway on Friday evening. He died on the way while being brought to Sadar Hospital for treatment.

According to the information, the deceased is Surendra Kumar, 53-year-old son of late Pancham Prasad, resident of Naya Mohammadpur village of Koilwar police station area. He was an LIC agent. Currently he lived in his own house in Anand Nagar locality of Town police station area.

The younger brother of the deceased, Sanjay Prasad, said that on Friday he had gone to his village Naya Mohammadpur by bike. When he was returning on Friday evening. During that time, an unknown vehicle hit his bike near Geedha Overbridge. Due to which he was seriously injured.

After getting the information, the family reached there and brought him to Sadar Hospital for treatment. Where the doctor declared him dead after seeing him. The police got the post-mortem done.

It is said that the deceased was the eldest among his three brothers and three sisters. His family includes his mother Lalita Devi, wife Shabnam Devi and two sons Vishal Kumar and Vivek Kumar. After the incident, the deceased's mother Lalita Devi, wife Shabnam Devi and all the members of the family are in a bad condition due to crying.
