ARA----------------------------To ensure the successful conduct of the upcoming Bihar Legislative Assembly General Elections 2025, the "Letter Writing Campaign" program was organized at the Upgraded Secondary School, Ganghar, Ara, under the leadership of Mr. Tanay Sultania, District Election Officer-cum-District Magistrate, Bhojpur. This program was organized under the SVEEP program, with the primary objective of spreading voter awareness and ensuring an increase in voter turnout.

In this program, school students wrote letters to their parents and community members, urging them to actively participate in the grand festival of democracy: voting. Through their letters, the students appealed to the public to vote on November 6, 2025, and further strengthen the country's democracy. This initiative was a commendable effort towards developing democratic awareness and a sense of responsibility among the youth.

This week, every student in all schools across the district will receive this letter. Through this campaign, each student will have their parents and all family members aged 18 years or older write their name, signature, and polling station (voting booth) number on the letter and submit it to the school. This campaign will not only increase awareness among youth about democracy but also motivate every member of their family and society to vote. This initiative will prove to be an important step towards increasing voter turnout and strengthening democracy.

At the end of the program, the District Magistrate appealed to all present to not only vote themselves but also to encourage their family, neighbors, and every member of society to vote. He stated that every vote symbolizes the strength of democracy, and it is the duty of a responsible citizen to exercise their right to vote.

The meeting held on this occasion included the Deputy Development Commissioner, Bhojpur, the nodal officer of the SWEEP Cell, the District Education Officer, the DPO, the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, and other relevant officials.
