PATNA----------------------------Leader of Opposition in Bihar and former Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav had a narrow escape on Wednesday. A car tried to hit his convoy on JP Ganga Path (Marine Drive) in Patna. Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi was returning from a program. Then this incident happened. During this, a big lapse in his security came to light. The security personnel have detained the accused youth. He is being questioned. It is being told that a major accident was averted in Tejashwi's convoy.

According to the information, when Tejashwi Yadav was returning to his residence on Wednesday evening. Then a speeding car came near his convoy on JP Ganga Path near Marine Drive. The car driver tried to enter his car in Tejashwi's convoy. During this, the security personnel stopped and caught him. It was fortunate that no vehicle in the convoy was hit, otherwise a big accident could have happened.

There was a stir due to the lapse in the security of the Leader of Opposition inside the capital Patna. Sultanganj police station of Patna took the accused youth into custody. He is being questioned. The motive of the accused behind this is being investigated. After the incident, Tejashwi boarded his car and reached his safe residence.

About a month ago also, a speeding truck had rammed into Tejashwi Yadav's convoy in Gaurol of Vaishali district. At that time three security personnel were badly injured. Tejashwi was returning to Patna after attending a program in Madhepura, when this accident happened on NH 22 at midnight. At the time of the accident, Tejashwi was present at a distance of just 5 feet from the convoy, he narrowly escaped.
