LADY TEACHER KILLED

BHABHUA (RNI) Sad news has emerged from the district. Mamta Devi, a teacher returning from Maa Mundeshwari Temple with her husband, died in a road accident, while her husband, Rakesh Pandey, sustained minor injuries. The accident occurred near the Karmanasha Canal turn in the Chand police station area.

The deceased has been identified as Mamta Devi, wife of Rakesh Pandey, a resident of Ramgarh in Chandauli district, Uttar Pradesh, and a teacher at Chehariya School in Durgawati block. Rakesh Pandey stated that while returning from Maa Mundeshwari Temple, a speeding bike hit their bike from behind. Both were thrown from the bike, and Mamta Devi was seriously injured.

The injured were immediately taken to Chand PHC, where doctors declared Mamta Devi dead. Police recorded a panchnama at the scene and sent the body to Bhabua Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.

The accident has left the deceased's family in mourning. Local people have demanded the district administration to control speeding vehicles and provide government assistance to the victim's family.
