KIDNAPPING CASE SOLVED, POLICE ARREST THE ACCUSED

ARA--------------------------A youth from Samastipur hatched a conspiracy to kidnap himself to get money from his family to buy a car. He prepared the kidnapping script with one of his friends and made a fake video of himself being held hostage and beaten up and sent it to his family. After that, the friend who became the kidnapper called from his mobile and demanded sixty thousand rupees as ransom from the family.

The entire case was related to Gadhani police station area of Bhojpur. After the case came to light, the police under the leadership of Gadhani police station in-charge Kamaljeet solved the case through technical sources and arrested both the friends. They include Govind Kumar, son of Rajendra Mandal, resident of Sihuli village of Khanpur police station area of Samastipur and Rajneesh Tiwari, son of Ashok Tiwari, resident of Paramanpur village of Daawat police station area of Rohtas.

Both of them were arrested near Piro on Thursday night. A video of him being held hostage and being beaten up was also found on his mobile. After that, both of their mobiles were confiscated. Both of them confessed their crime during police interrogation. Govind Kumar has been accused of plotting his own kidnapping and his friend Rajneesh Tiwari of supporting him. According to the SHO, Govind Kumar had made up a false story of kidnapping to get money to buy a four-wheeler.

According to the SHO, Govind Kumar, resident of Sihuli in Samastipur, told during interrogation that he had to buy a four-wheeler. But his family was not ready to give him money. He hatched a conspiracy to kidnap himself. For this, while returning from Pune, he prepared the entire plot of kidnapping. As part of the conspiracy, instead of going to the village, he reached Ara station on July 1 and along with his friend Rajneesh Tiwari, made up a false story of kidnapping. After that, both of them reached a forest-like place near Gadhani station.

There, Rajneesh Tiwari tied Govind Kumar to a tree. During that time, he also took off all his clothes and shot a video of the beating. On July 2, the video was sent to his family from Govind's mobile. On the same day, Rajneesh Tiwari called Govind Kumar's family from his mobile and told them that he had been kidnapped and demanded a ransom of sixty thousand rupees. He threatened to kill them if they did not pay. After that, both of them fled to Piro.

Both Govind Kumar and his friend Rajneesh Tiwari were caught through the tower location of the same mobile from which they had pretended to be kidnapped and demanded money. Actually, the matter is that Govind Kumar, son of Rajendra Mandal, a resident of Sihuli village of Samastipur district, left for his village by train from Pune on June 29. On July 1, he called his wife and said that he had reached Patna. He will reach Hajipur in some time. But after that his mobile was switched off. His wife kept calling him, but the mobile was showing switched off every time.

Meanwhile, on the morning of July 2, a call was made to Govind Kumar's wife from his mobile and a demand of Rs. 60,000 was made. It was said that if the money was not given, he would be killed. After some time, a video came from Govind's mobile. In it, Govind Kumar was tied to a tree and the sound of someone beating and abusing him was heard. After that the mobile was switched off again.

Around 11 o'clock a call came from Govind Kumar's mobile and again a demand of Rs. 60,000 was made. The same sequence continued throughout the day. After that, Govind's family reached the local police station and the incident was reported. In the police investigation, the location of his mobile was showing Gadhani. After that, the family reached Gadhani police station and an FIR was lodged for Govind's kidnapping. After that, the police came into action and through technical means, the case was disclosed.
