ARA--------------------------Rinku Devi of Arrah proved that change is possible with government schemes. She was honored at Rashtrapati Bhavan for building a house under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Rinku Devi, a mid-day meal cook, received assistance of two lakh rupees in which she built a concrete house by adding her savings. Rinku Devi, who traveled by air for the first time, is now inspiring others as well. Change is possible if government schemes reach the right hands, Rinku Devi of Arrah city has proved this by completing the journey from mud house to Rashtrapati Bhavan. She saw that moment of life which she had never imagined.
She built the ideal house of her dreams with Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and for this achievement, she got a chance to attend the banquet organized at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Independence Day on Friday. At the banquet, President Draupadi Murmu honored her by giving her a citation with her own hands.
