There is no dearth of talent in the sports world, but often players get discouraged due to lack of better platform and encouragement. The government and various organizations are now assuring the players that if they bring honor to the district and state by winning medals at the national or international level, they will not only get respect but will also be provided with a permanent job opportunity. The above words were said by Dr. Anju Singh, patron of Saran District Yogasana Sports Association, during the felicitation ceremony organized in the auditorium of Bhagwat Vidyapeeth in the city. He also said that the biggest benefit of this scheme is that the young men and women of rural areas who want to pursue sports despite lack of resources will now enter the field with more enthusiasm. The dream of job guarantee and respectable future will inspire them to work hard. This not only improves personal life but also brings glory to the district, state and ultimately the country in the sports world. Secretary Chandrashekhar Prasad Singh said that it is very important to have a referee to be fully proficient in an important sport like yoga. For this, the joint secretary of the association and physical teacher of Bhagwat Vidyapeeth, Tarun Kumar Singh, has brought laurels to the district by passing the state level examination. At the same time, in the 12th state level yoga competition organized by Bihar Yoga Association from 30 to 31 August in Patna, Asmita Kumari of the 25 to 30 age group has secured fourth place among the daughters of Saran, while Seema Kumari has secured second place in the 21 to 25 age group. Similarly, Anjali Shahi of the age group of 16 to 18 has brought laurels to the rural sports competition by securing the first position in the state.
While Julie Shahi and Dolly Kumari from rural areas like Apahar of Amnour have also performed excellently. At the same time, in the 6th state level competition organized by Bihar Yogasana Sports Association (BYSA) from 22 to 24 August, Anchal Kumari, Muskan, Agniya, Aditi, Khushi and Archana of Bhagwat Vidyapeeth have brought laurels to the school and the district by performing excellently. All these participants were honored by the patron of the association Dr. Anju Singh, President Parasnath Srivastava and Bhagwat Vidyapeeth's Vice Principal Jai Prakash along with many others by wearing medals. While the patron gave sweets to all the participants and wished them a bright future for performing excellently through yoga practice at the national level.
Saran District Yogasana Sports Association President cum Advocate Parasnath Srivastava said that in the state level Yogasana Sports Championship organized by Bihar Yogasana Sports Association in Patna from 22 to 24 and 30 and 31 August, the daughters of Saran not only represented the district but also hoisted the flag by winning gold and silver.
