State Bureau, Patna. CPI (ML) General Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya said on Friday that the BJP-JDU government's ten thousand rupees assistance to women is actually a "women's debtor scheme," an attempt to push women deeper into debt. After the elections, a Grand Alliance government will be formed, and Jeevika workers will have permanent jobs and small loans will be waived.
He said that this ten thousand rupees is an election gimmick—the game is over, the money is gone. They will take the votes and then talk about returning the money. Home Minister Amit Shah himself has said that in future more loans will be provided from the bank, which means that this scheme is a conspiracy to trap women in the debt trap.
