ARA--------------------------Tulsi Jayanti program was organized in the courtyard of Manas Mandir, Ramna Ara, under Tulsi Jayanti fortnight program from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm on Sunday under the chairmanship of senior litterateur Jagat Nandan Sahay. The program was formally inaugurated by senior advocate Lakshmi Narayan Rai by lighting a lamp and offering prayers in front of the statue of Goswami Tulsidas. After that, the litterateurs present offered floral tributes to the statue of Goswami Tulsidas one by one. Addressing from the chair, litterateur Jagat Nandan Sahay said that Tulsidas ji is considered the biggest folk hero after Buddhadev, which shows the wide reach of his poetry and devotion. On this occasion, while highlighting the personality and work of Goswami Tulsidas, the chief speaker, Diwakar Pandey, the head of the Bhojpuri department of Veer Kunwar Singh University, said that Goswami Tulsidas ji is called the greatest person of the Mughal period. He presented a great personality like Ram in front of the society to remove the suffering of the then society. Professor Dr. Jang Bahadur Pandey, former head of the Hindi department of Ranchi University, called Tulsidas ji the Valmiki of Kalikal.

Nand ji Dubey, former head of the Hindi department of Veer Kunwar Singh University, said that Tulsidas is considered an important poet for his contribution to Hindi language and literature, who played an important role in making Hindi a mature literary language.

The speakers present considered Tulsidas ji a great coordinator who tried to establish coordination between folk and scriptures, household and renunciation, devotion and knowledge, language and culture. Among those who addressed the gathering were Nand Kishore Singh Kamal, Ajay Kumar Gupta, Ramesh Singh, Acharya Girdhar Pathak, Poonam Pandey, Dr. Kiran Kumari, Dr. R.C. Bhushan, Ishwar Chandra Vishwakarma, Satyendra Narayan Singh, Jai Narayan Pandey, Janmejaya Ojha, Girish Prasad Singh, Sharad Singh, etc. Invocation was given by Ramesh Singh Ramprapann, vote of thanks was given by Kavilash Singh.
