INSPECTION OF COASTAL AREAS OF SHAHPUR BLOCK TO REVIEW PRE-FLOOD PREPARATIONS

ARA-----------------------------As per the instructions of District Magistrate, Bhojpur, Shri Tanay Sultania, various coastal areas of Shahpur block like Jawaniya, Damodarpur etc. were inspected as part of the review of pre-flood preparations. During the inspection, instructions were given for immediate action in view of the possibility of potential danger in view of the unexpected rise in the water level of river Ganga. Necessary guidelines were given to the concerned officials including the Zonal Officer, especially to expedite the anti-erosion works and to ensure proper preparation of flood relief camps and essential materials.

On the occasion of inspection, Executive Engineer, Assistant Engineer, Junior Engineer, Zonal Officer Shahpur and Bahoranpur Police Station Head and other officials of Flood Division Buxar were present.
