ARA-----------------------On Wednesday, police at the Bihiya police station in Bhojpur district arrested a man who had been working as a teacher for the past ten years using a fake certificate. The arrested accused, Suresh Prasad, is a resident of Chakrahi village in the Bihiya police station area.

According to information, Suresh Prasad joined the primary school in Mahuvan village about 10 years ago as a teacher. He had been working there since then and had been teaching children for a long time.

Meanwhile, the Vigilance Department received a complaint that the educational certificates and documents submitted by Suresh Prasad at the time of his appointment were suspicious. Taking cognizance of the complaint, a team from the Vigilance Department visited the school in Mahuvan village and examined all the teacher's certificates.

During the investigation, it was revealed that all the certificates and documents submitted by Suresh Prasad at the time of joining the job were fake. Following this, the Vigilance Department, Patna, considering the matter serious, filed an FIR at the Bihiya police station on May 15, 2025. The accused fled the school after the FIR was filed.

The police were continuously searching for him, and finally, on Wednesday, he was arrested in the Bihiya area.

According to police sources, following Suresh Prasad's arrest, he is being questioned about where and through whom he obtained these fake certificates. The entire network is also being investigated to identify other individuals involved in the fraud.

According to villagers, the news of Suresh Prasad's arrest has created a stir in the area. People are shocked that he continued teaching children for so many years without the department even noticing. A thorough investigation is now underway at both the police and education department levels.
