BHABHUA------------------------Illegal meat and fish shops in the open near Punjab National Bank on Kudra Bhabhuan Road under Nagar Panchayat Kudra of the district are inviting deadly diseases as well as accidents, city dwellers are worried and officials are careless. Let us tell you that the meat and fish shops in the open near Punjab National Bank on Bhabhuan Road from Nagar Panchayat Kudra are inviting serious diseases as well as major accidents by ignoring the rules. BJP Block Vice President Rakesh Kumar Singh along with dozens of local shopkeepers present there told that earlier all these shops were being run illegally in the service lane of the National Highway. When they were banned and removed from there, all these shopkeepers are inviting diseases as well as accidents by opening illegal shops at the same place where garbage was dumped. Earlier we were troubled by the smell of such garbage, despite that since the shops of meat and fish have been opened, these shopkeepers throw the remains of meat and fish on the roads at various places,

When the wind blows, it becomes difficult to even sit in the shops. There is a residential school nearby, due to the spread of pollution, children including local people can also fall prey to diseases. Not only this, the road also becomes completely chaotic in the evening.

Due to which the possibility of any major accident cannot be ruled out. Despite telling the local authorities many times, no action has been taken against them till now.

If seen, according to the rules, it is not right to do meat business in the open, and it is also banned in many places. Selling or cutting meat in the open is harmful for hygiene and health, and many types of diseases spread from it. Selling meat in the open poses a risk of exposure to flies, dust and other dirt, which contaminates the meat. Eating contaminated meat can lead to food poisoning and other health problems. Selling meat in the open causes foul smell which pollutes the surrounding environment. Many bodies have banned the sale of meat in the open, and fines are imposed for doing so. Therefore, to do meat business, it is important to set up a proper shop and follow all the necessary hygiene and health rules. It is important to set up a proper shop which is clean and has proper arrangements for keeping the meat safe. The shop should be cleaned regularly and the meat should be protected from flies and other insects. While following all the necessary health rules for cutting and selling meat, waste should be disposed of properly so that pollution does not spread.

Permission to set up meat and fish shops anywhere by the Executive Officer or Chairman of the Nagar Panchayat cannot be given. Selling meat and fish in the open is prohibited under the Municipality Act. In this regard, the officials of Nagar Panchayat, Zone or District Administration should run campaigns from time to time and remove such shops. But the concerned officials here are sleeping. It seems that the illegal shops of meat and fish flourishing in the open are the source of illegal income of the local officials. The district administration needs to pay attention to this.
